"We booked this beautiful home for our family vacation with our children and grandchildren. We were very happy with the location - right on the lake with easy access for fishing and kayaking. We had small children along and found the yard and deck had plenty of room for them to play, safe from the water. We spent more time indoors than expected due to rainy weather and found the home spacious and comfortable throughout the stay."

“We had a lovely time! The owners were very helpful and responsive throughout. the cabin is beautiful and spacious. The location was a plus, only about 80 miles from home. We stayed during the week and so there was very little traffic on the lake. My kids enjoyed use of the kayak, canoe and paddle boat. We saw eagles, loons and an otter had a fish breakfast one morning right on the dock. This was a perfect space for our family to have some down time before school starts..”

“ 5/5- A Lovely Lakeside Getaway The cabin was very comfortable, clean, and well stocked with everything we needed. Our kids loved having access to the paddle boat, kayaks, and canoe and we all spent a lot of time swimming/jumping off the raft. Communication with the property manager was easy and she had quick responses to our questions. We had a great experience!.”

"Awesome lake house for families - especially good for kids and dog We had a great long week at the Cabin on Blake. The cabin was especially good for kids (ours 2 and 5), particularly the yard for games, the fire pit for smores, the beach/dock for swimming, and the lake for tubing and fishing (also the selection of movies for the one rainy day). The kitchen was well stocked, the grill very handy, and the huge deck awesome for hanging out. The fishing (primarily bass and panfish) was very good and always kept the kids and adults entertained. I would highly recommend the Cabin on Blake for a family lake house vacation!"

"Excellent experience This is our second time staying with these owners on Blake Lake. Both times, the cabin was fully stocked, decorated with a log cabin feel, enough room (and then some) for 8 people. It's great how it's dog friendly. We had a wonderful time, we'll definitely be back!"

"Nice location for a quick family get away. The cabin was clean, beds were comfortable and the tables on the deck were a great place to have family dinners. We enjoyed the flat yard for playing games with the kids and the large fire pit at the end of the day."
